Hi Pat,
can you try running the application in admin mode and see if that problem still persist?
Also try closing the folder in explorer in case it was open.

Regards,
Norman

Hi Nick,

it currently does not support TFS. What you can do is check out the entire solution manually. Leave the checkbox "Under Version Control" unchecked. Rename your project and check the solution back in manually. That should work.

Regards,
Norman

I have downloaded the msi file for VS 2008 project renaming.
When I ran it it requires a .NET install/update. I did that.
After rebooting I ran the msi again but it still asks for the NET thing.
What am I doing wrong?
   Thanks
       Peter

Hi Emmanuel,

yes i was thinking of making the Renamer an open source project myself too. It actually takes too much time to maintain it. I kinda underestimated the complexity of renaming projects first when i started ;). But unfortunatly I didnt come around to setup a repository yet. I will put the code base on codeplex on the weekend since i have an account there.
Might be really a good idea since I added features in a really sloppy way lately (example: C++ renaming)..and the project could really need some refactoring too.

Once i have set up the repo at codeplex i will post the url here.
